“i actually don’t know keminggris that long. i know about the community first on february 2026, and i always wanted to join because i want to practice my speaking. and it was really hard to get the slot at first lol😭 until i get my first session on early may. and i was really really nervous, not only that i think i’m not that good in speaking, i also very introverted that i think being in a social function with a lot of people was terrifying. but to my surprise, the session was really lay back and as they said “no perfect no problem”, i feel welcomed as someone who’s incredibly and visibly nervous and awkward. and my second session was great too. with the movie charades-like. and my third session with the birthday theme. each session gave me a super fun experience and new insights from the doelurs. it honestly made me want to join more sessions. not just to practice my speaking anymore, but also to hang out with the doelurs. somehow i always end up having the best conversations and the most fun with the doelurs..”

“I can't quite say that it's very special. I can say that I like Keminggris and its events a lot. I would love to join the celebration of Keminggris's anniversary together. I'm hoping to join a lot of Keminggris's sessions more in the future so this would be a good opportunity to know everyone a little bit more.”

“Some of the best decisions in my life have started with very little excitement. Joining my first Keminggris session was one of them. I came to my first session to Keminggris with zero expectations. I remember this day vividly, waiting for the next episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty, high anticipation of a cheesy romance series I'd normally roll my eyes at. It was dead silent at home, and Keminggris was about a 30 minute drive away. I decided to go escaping the lack of humans at home. The event happened and it felt like time flew by. I remember driving home thinking, Huh... that was actually reallyyy nice. For the first time in a loooong while, I left a social event feeling energized instead of mentally drafting my retirement from humanity. I didn’t have to shrink or carefully edit myself to be understood. In fact, I yapped quite a bit. It was so nice meeting people who were simply excited to connect and have conversations. Ever since then, Keminggris has become more than just an English community to me. It's become one of those places that reminds me how meaningful it can be to simply show up.”

“Well tbh, karena ada kemungkinan ada kesempatan join kelas hihiiii Karena selama ini akunya sering ketinggalan kesempatan ikut Keminggris (hitungan menit aja telat buka ig, dah ada story submission ditutup kek AAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKHHHHHHHHH) Di sisi lain seneng karena seaktif dan seantusias itu pada pingin join kelasnya Baru sekali aku berhasil ikut, dan itu pun karena hoki sebelum form ditutup. Jadi tiap ada info sesi baru, suka hopeless, bakal dapet ga yaaa wkwkkw”

“It's very speciaall, jujur to be honest because karena udah beberapa kali ikutt baik dari Regular Session yang di MCC sama yang di Perpus Cafe sampai senengg banget ikut di Valentine Session nya. Kenapa sangat special, in my opinion disaat aku waktu itu hectic hectic nya ujian, lomba, organisasi dll yang aku mau ikut Valentine Session tapi ragu ragu baik dari kegiatan ku time management ku juga, dan aku juga ngerasa minder dari segi umur dan penghasilan yang ga nentu (karena pas itu mikirku liteleri biro jodoh WKWKWK MAAPPP) pada saat itu yaa wkwkwk, tapi pas di reach out Kak Lilla buat ikut at that moment i felt aku jadi part of Doelor Lawas and it made me throwback pas awal awal ikut terus ikut ke Ngempon buat hangout sampai jam 11/12 malem after Regular Session kek ikut Keminggris ketemu temen temen (Kak Lilla, Kak Yudis, Kak Yusuf dlll) refreshing gituu kek cerita cerita, canda tawa nya lepas ajaa gituu WKWKWK. So that's the reason i want to celebrate the 1st session cause i feel like im comfort and bisa jadi diri sendiri gatau ya nyaman dan tenang ajaa bawaannya gituu kek community but feel like family, family friendly gituu hehehe”

“of course it’s very special for me, cause as etmin can see. I spend my time more in keminggris, I put effort to save the spot hehehe. I saw keminggris not only for improve my english skills, I already feel like keminggris is my big family 🥹 tbh, I also join some communities in Malang. But Keminggris always be my go to community that I always coming back (tbh I ever joined one of biggest community in Malang, but wouldn’t recommend so I choose not to coming back WKWKW). I still remember that my first experience joined keminggris is in perpus cafe, I still amazed that all of the momodss are super duper easy going and very kind. You guys answer all of my curiosity about how keminggris started. Also you guys, waiting for me until my hts (already my bf now😋) picked me up. From that day, I keep joining every keminggris session every time I got the spot. For me, keminggris is also one of my growth journeys, not only personally to my skills, I also got a lot of new friends that super amazing, supportive, and the most important thing is non judgy hehe. Keminggris also helping my small business grow so much, and really appreciate a lot. I can’t stop saying thank you so much. It really means a lot for me and my business. (actually I’m so sorry I haven’t give the special pricelist yet because I got sick lately 😭😭🙏🏻 I’ll share the update soon 🥹🫰🏻) I’m sorry I yapped a lot WKWK. but really, I feel safe to tell stories in keminggris. because sometimes I oversharing too and of course after that I overthink about it. but it’s okay, in keminggris I always feel safe.
